On friday nights kids from the community come to the center. There have been over 200 kids there. And on any given friday night you would see over 125 kids come. They range in age from 6th graders upto and including 21 years.
They have a variety of activities...
Besides the air hocky table, in the game room the kids play, pool and foosball. Also, there are PS2, Xbox and Wii games upstairs.
In the gym they could play basketball or when the net is set up, they could play a game of vollyball.

During the summer months the outdoor court is availible.
Notice the street in the background? That is part of, one of the main gosls of SEPCYC, to give the kids a safe enjoyable alternative to wandering the streets of Camden. That is something that has gained the support and respect of parents and community officials.
The kids have a short devotional time that deals with teen issues. They have responded with genuine concern towards one another. So that along with volunteer chaperones from the church, behavior isn't a problem.
Oh, I almost for got to mention the Snack Bar! Maybe the Snack Bar is the reason
so many kids come, or maybe its the gym, or maybe its the game rooms, or maybe they
just like hanging out together, or it just might be the devotional topics, or the prayers, or ...
It all matters. But the truth is, the youth in our community won't know we care unless we, adults
and community leaders, show the Kids in our community that we care.
